アメリカ出身のコミックアーティスト、現在は日本に在住。
伝統的なキャラクターを描いた日本文化をテーマにしたコミックカバーで知られ、東洋と西洋の芸術スタイルを融合させた独自の作品は、世界中のファンを魅了しています。

独学で技術を磨いた後、2018年にロサンゼルスのインディーズ映画プロデューサーたちとともに、フリーランスのイラストレーターおよびストーリーボードアーティストとしてキャリアをスタートしました。
浮世絵と現代の西洋コミックスから影響を受けた彼の作品は、鮮やかなストーリーテリングと緻密なデザインで高く評価されています。
2024年には、Skybound Entertainmentとコラボレーションし、『G.I.ジョー』や『Ghost Pepper』のカバーアートを手掛けました。

日本に拠点を移してからは、アジア全体の文化をインスピレーション源としながら創作を続けており、近年では油絵や水彩、その他の表現方法を取り入れ、コミックと物語表現の新たな可能性を追求しています。

Ito is an American comic book artist, born in the USA and now living in Japan. Renowned for his Japanese-themed comic book covers featuring traditional characters, Ito blends Western and Eastern artistic styles, creating a unique fusion that captivates audiences worldwide.

Self-taught, Ito began his career in 2018 as a freelance illustrator, and storyboard artist contributing to indie-film producers in Los Angeles California. His work, inspired by classic ukiyo-e prints and modern Western comics, gained recognition for its vibrant storytelling and intricate designs. In 2024, he collaborated with Skybound Entertainment for some of his first covers for G.I. Joe as well as the recently revealed American manga Ghost Pepper.

Since moving to Japan Ito’s work continues to be inspired by the local culture of greater Asia and beyond. Recently he has begun to combine works in oil, watercolor, and other mixed media to expand the visual medium of comic books and storytelling.
